These terms govern the use of the PromoKOTSA mobile app and the promokotsa.com website (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you accept them.

1. Publisher

The service is published by TAO Digital LTD, a company registered in Mauritius (BRN C26233822), 10 Riverside, Phoenix, Mauritius. Contact: support@promokotsa.com.

2. The service

PromoKOTSA lets businesses in Mauritius publish promotions ("deals") and lets users discover them, save them and, when the business offers one, get a coupon to show in store. PromoKOTSA is an information intermediary: we do not sell the products and services shown and we are not a party to purchases between you and businesses.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • The information you provide must be accurate. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the use of your account.
  • An account is personal; you may not transfer it.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app or by writing to us — see Delete my account.

4. Deals and coupons

  • Each deal is published under the sole responsibility of the business, which sets the price, duration, conditions and stock. The business alone is responsible for the products and services sold, their compliance and after-sales service.
  • A coupon is personal, single-use, valid until the deal's end date and under the conditions set by the business. It has no cash value and cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • We do our best to keep the information shown up to date, but we cannot guarantee that an offer is available in store. If there is a dispute about a purchase, contact the business first; you can also report it to us.

5. Businesses

By publishing on PromoKOTSA, the business agrees to:

  • publish real, accurate and lawful offers, and honour them for their whole duration;
  • comply with the laws of Mauritius, including consumer protection, pricing and advertising rules;
  • only publish texts, logos and photos it holds the rights to, and allow us to display them in the app, on the website and in sharing previews;
  • redeem coupons in good faith and not refuse them without a valid reason.

Business details (name, logo, address, phone, description, opening hours) are public. Plans, their limits and prices are those shown at the time of subscription.

6. Prohibited use

You may not use the service to publish misleading, unlawful or offensive content or content that infringes the rights of others, to create fake coupons or misuse them, to access other users' data without authorisation, or to disrupt the service.

7. Moderation and suspension

We may refuse, remove or disable a deal, and suspend or close an account, if these terms or the law are not respected, or to protect users. Except in urgent cases, we inform the person concerned.

8. Intellectual property

The PromoKOTSA brand, the app, the website and their content (except content published by businesses) belong to TAO Digital LTD. You may not copy or reuse them without our permission.

9. Availability and liability

The service is provided as is. We do what is needed to keep it available and secure, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or in case of failure. To the extent permitted by law, our liability does not cover businesses' offers or indirect damage arising from the use of the service.

10. Personal data

How we use your data is described in our privacy policy.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page; for significant changes, we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. In case of dispute, we will first seek an amicable solution; failing that, the courts of Mauritius will have jurisdiction.
